Your information is used solely to:

• Provide access to your community on the Service
• Display your name and details to other approved members of your community
• Send transactional emails (registration, password reset, reservation and activity notifications)
• Let you manage reservations and communicate within your community

Information Sharing & Isolation

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. Your information is visible only to approved members of your own community. Each community is isolated from every other community on SharedStead. We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if required by law.

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), encrypted database storage, and access controls. Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes and are never readable by us.

Cookies & Analytics

The app uses session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your activity. This marketing site may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand overall traffic, but does not track you across other websites.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required for legitimate purposes (for example, reservation history relevant to other members of your community).

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond to requests within 30 days.
